| Abstract: |
We present an adaptive filtering technique combined with a special procedure for eliminating cosmic ray events in the original Echelle CCD-image. The procedure is applied to the two-dimensional frames before extracting the spectra. A similar procedure based on adaptive filtering was earlier applied to other tasks in astronomical image processing. |
