		| Abstract: |
We present integral field spectroscopy in the near-infrared of the inner 350 × 350 pc2 of NGC 1068, which were used to build emission-line intensity maps, line-ratio maps, and channel maps in order to map the flux distribution, excitation and kinematics of the narrow-line region, at a spatial resolution of ≈ 8 pc. While the flux distribution in molecular gas (H2) reveals a circumnuclear ring, ionized H emission follows the biconical morphology of the [OIII] emitting gas in the optical. The [FeII] λ1.64 μm) emission shows an hour-glass shape partly coincident with the [OIII] emission. The kinematics is dominated by outflows in all emission lines. [-1.2cm] |
