| Abstract: |
Early results on source counts and background based on 8 pointed ROSAT PSPC observations selected from the ROSAT calibration and verification phase are reported. Integral source counts flatten below 2 x 10 exp -14 erg/sq cm s. In the 1-2 keV band the fraction of flux in resolved sources is 20-30 percent and the spectrum of the resolved sources is similar to that of the remaining background, both with a power law slope of -1.3. |
