		| Abstract: |
Results of tests on a front-illuminated P8603/S are presented, with emphasis on charge transfer efficiency at low light levels, residual image effects, quantum efficiency hysteresis, and dark current as a function of clocking levels. Surface residual image effects are eliminated, leaving only residual bulk image and quantum-efficiency-hysteresis effects when the CCD is exposed to red light. The CTE is quite good all the way down to a signal level of 5e(-). |
