| Abstract: |
The quantum efficiency in the blue region of TI's 800 x 800 CCD is very low. Increasing the sensitivity in this area is desirable when using the CCD in astronomy. A simple method of UV flooding is used to increase the quantum efficiency. It involves using pure oxygen in the presence of the CCD, and a timed exposure to UV. |
