| Abstract: |
We present spectropolarimetric VLT observations of a sample of broad absorption line (BAL) QSOs with a redshift between z = 1.8 and 3.5. Based on the different polarimetric signatures in the continuum, the broad absorption troughs and the broad emission lines we propose a tentative model for the scattering geometry in BAL QSO systems. |
