Observational data of star-forming complexes are commonly represented in the 'Hα line surface brightness – velocity dispersion' diagram (I(Hα)–σ). Based on a set of 3D numerical simulations of clustered supernova remnants we discuss possible interpretations of different parts of the diagram. |
