| Abstract: |
We present three B[e] supergiant field stars in the Small Magellanic Cloud that lack the usual dust emission normally seen in B[e] supergiants. They instead show an IR excess due to free-free emission, similar to classical Be stars. We discuss several models for the possible origin of these unusual stars and their possible relation to two other B[e] supergiants with anomalously low dust emission found in the literature. |
