| Abstract: |
The Planetary Data System (PDS) is nearing the completion of the fourth (PDS4)
version of its archive data standards. This version is a complete, ground-up
redesign based on over two decades of institutional experience archiving
observations from spacecraft, landers, and ground-based observatories and labs.
We present an overview of the PDS4 archival formats, their derivation, and the
rationale behind the format constraints and requirements. |
