| Abstract: |
The large and complex datasets now being produced by NRAO telescopes mean
that the
traditional model of users downloading raw data and reducing it at their
home institution is no longer viable in many cases. Pipelines are under
development, but the complexity of the data reduction process means that
users will frequently want to customize their reductions. To facilitate this,
we are building a new combined
archive interface and pipeline reprocessing tool that
will allow users to select data and define pipeline reprocessing options
through a web interface. The user will then be able to submit the
job to an NRAO computing cluster, and download the results. We are currently
to the point of having defined the system design and built a prototype. |
