| Abstract: |
We report on the identification of a large number of hot, hydrogen-deficient (pre-) white dwarfs (four O(He) stars, eight PG 1159 stars, and 32 DO white dwarfs) in the Sloan Digital Sky Survey Data Release 10. We present the results of a NLTE spectral analysis and review the formation channels for these objects. We also present preliminary results of a study of their Galactic distribution. |
