Optical interferometry and polarimetry have separately provided key insights in stellar astronomy. In this paper, we present: scientific use cases for “full-Stokes” optical interferometic polarimetry (OIP); instrument requirements; strawman beam combiner and polarimeter designs; an end-to-end OIP data reduction flowchart; and reimaged full-Stokes models of a Be star. |
