| Abstract: |
CSCview is a graphical user interface to the Chandra Source Catalog. The interface uses a Java applet which accesses the catalog
through a middle-tier Java EE application server. A tabbed interface
allows the user to navigate through the main functions of the
application: selecting from a list of catalog versions, creating a
query, displaying the results, and downloading products. The
application includes other features, such as a
persistent set of user preferences and a guided help screen.
CSCview had its initial release in 2009 and is being
updated to include new features and to accommodate evolving
requirements. |
