		We present multi-epoch, multi-wavelength Laser Guide Star Adaptive
 Optics (LGS AO) observations of the Arches cluster to probe how the
 properties of emergent stellar populations within our Galaxy may be
 affected by the physical environment in which they arise.  Our
 multi-epoch LGS AO data set offers two distinct advantages over
 earlier mass function studies; first, it has higher angular
 resolution, reducing the impact of source confusion, and second, it
 provides proper motion measurements, enabling direct identification of
 cluster members.  We apply new data sets and AO point spread function
 (PSF) extraction tools to present new measurements of the Arches mass
