| Abstract: |
We present very preliminary analysis of a large sample of southern symbiotic stars spectra based on a simple photoionization model. Balmer decrement diagram and the He II 4686 Å/Hβ flux ratio were used to derive basic parameters, such as reddening, optical depth in Hα and the temperature of the hot component for each system. |
