| Abstract: |
I review here some of the methods that have been used to get solutions
to astrophysically relevant problems. I will in particular detail
a method to obtain self-similar solutions and provide an application
for fast moving convective/radiative fronts in stars. I will then
suggest possible applications to numerical algorithms for solving
1D partial differential equations. |
