Abstract:	Many red giant stars are observed in the exo-planet search program of the French-lead satellite CoRoT.We report on the detection of solar-type oscillations in red giants observed for ~150 days during the first long run campaign. We present amplitude spectra showing the variation of oscillations with Teff and L and present a simple technique to estimate their mass and radius.
