The 2XMM catalog, the world’s largest catalog of X-ray sources, was published in August 2007 by the XMM-Newton Survey Science Centre (SSC). All observations using XMM-Newton which had been released to the public domain by May 2007 were processed using the latest data analysis soft- ware and calibration. Spectra and time-series are available for the brighter sources. |
