| Abstract: |
We combine an adaptive mesh refinement, axially-symmetric, MHD model of the heliosphere with a fully kinetic model to treat the flow of neutral particles. Results are presented of a comparison between MHD-kinetic and multifluid models. The algorithm of coupling between the AMR fluid and the kinetic codes is described. |
