We present the current results of our study of molecular hydrogen (H2) in damped Lyman-α (DLA) and sub-DLA systems at 1.8 < zabs < 3.4 based on a survey with the Ultraviolet and Visible Echelle Spectrograph (UVES) installed on the Very Large Telescope (VLT) at the ESO Cerro Paranal Observatory. |
