| Abstract: |
We shortly summarise the importance of line-profile analysis for the study of cataclysmic variables. We review the standard techniques for such an analysis and introduce a new way to evaluate the performance of Doppler tomography. As an application we present a case study on 7 SU UMa type dwarf novae. |
