		| Abstract: |
Several recent global and Space VLBI surveys of quasars and other types of AGN provide a wealth of material on milli- and sub-milliarcsecond radio structures in hundreds of sources. I present and discuss results of these projects emphasizing the statistics of redshift-dependent properties of the milli- and sub-milliarcsecond radio structures as well as various correlations between structural and other properties of AGN. These studies make possible to disentangle intrinsic (possibly, evolutionary) phenomena of parsec-scale radio structures and the imprints of the cosmological model. |
