| Abstract: |
We review the studies of the delta Scuti star V1162 Ori. Intense observations - to a large extent collected at SAAO within the Flanders-South African bilateral agreement prompting this workshop - have shown that the dominant pulsation mode in this intriguing object has a variable amplitude and a period which displays a slow, secular period change along with sudden or quasi-cyclic changes. |
