| Abstract: |
By using high resolution far infrared (FIR) data, we investigate the FIR properties of a selected sample of Hickson compact groups of galaxies. In order to find evidences of interaction at these wavelengths we compare: i) the galaxies in compact groups with samples of isolated, interacting and Markarian galaxies and ii) the FIR emission with the emissions in other bands. This is a short presentation of the analysis performed and of the results obtained. |
