		| Abstract: | 
		In the present study, based on the disk galaxy formation model developed by Mo, Mao & White (1998), we establish a simple model in which the satr formation process is self-regulated, to analyze a parallel Tully-Fisher relation in which the luminosities for spirals are considered to be proportional to their disk star formation rate instead of the mass-to-light ratio. It is found that the theoretical Tully-Fisher relation has a power index of 3.0, close to the observed result. |
