| Abstract: |
We present high-resolution, high-signal-to-noise observations of the He 1 10830 AA line in K and M dwarf stars over a range of activity levels. The line is detected in all our target stars in absorption and shows no obvious correlation with X-ray flux. A flare is detected in one star, which drives the line into net emission. |
