| Abstract: |
The release of the Hipparcos catalogue provides an opportunity to check results from asteroseismology. We discuss two stars: (i) Eta Boo (G subgiant), in which we have previously reported detection of solar-like oscillations; and (ii) Kappa2Boo, a multi-mode Delta Scuti variable. The Hipparcos parallaxes for both stars are in excellent agreement with oscillation results. |
