This is the first part of the presentation of the Asiago Eclipsing Binary Program (AEBP), which is complemented by the coordinated contribution by Siviero et al. ( this volume, p. 182); here we focus on the strategies of data acquisition and treatment. An application to the detached, low inclination main sequence SB2 eclipsing binary V570 Per is given. |
