		| Abstract: |
AIPS++ is an astronomical data analysis system currently being developed. The Green Bank Telescope (GBT) is under construction in Green Bank, West Virginia. The GBT is expected to be operational in mid-1997. Over the past several months, the AIPS++ group has been working to support the initial tests of the monitor and control software for the GBT. These tests involve placing the NRAO 140-ft. telescope and all data taking hardware under control of the GBT software. This paper describes the AIPS++ support of these ongoing tests. This support includes Glish (a command-line interface and process control hub), a near-real-time data filler, the AIPS++ Table system and some preliminary analysis tools. Real astronomical data has been obtained using GBT software and examined using AIPS++ tools. The future possibilities for AIPS++ single dish support, both for the GBT as well as other single dish telescopes, are discussed.
