| Abstract: |
The AXAF Science Center (ASC) is using an ``open architecture'' approach to develop a set of data analysis tools. The tool architecture is designed to allow the same tools to be instantiated in a variety of environments and via a variety of control mechanisms. This modular tool design allows the same tools to be used in all phases of ASC data analysis: automated pipeline processing, user-interactive command-line interaction and GUI driven analysis. |
