Abstract: The gas-rich dwarf irregular galaxy NGC 1569 has experienced a tremendous starburst, which has profoundly affected the distribution and the properties of the ISM. We discuss the distribution and the kinematics of the neutral atomic hydrogen in this galaxy and its halo using high-resolution HI data. In addition, we present deep multi-frequency CO observations and derive implications for the properties of the molecular gas in a post-starburst dwarf galaxy.
