Abstract: A total of 63 reported events are considered and an attempt is made to find positive intersections with passing sunlit spacecraft. These would include active payloads, spent rocket casings, and cataloged debris for which orbital elements were available. It is recommended that observations of flashes be logged judiciously for application to future investigations. There may be astrophysical rationale for continuing investigations of flash phenomena in an orderly fashion.
