Abstract: Two-dimensional digital aperture photometry of point sources traditionally involves extracting the source data with a large apearture which includes all the flux. This large aperture also includes many low S/N pixels. The use of small software apertures allow high S/N data to be obtained but do not collect all the flux from a source. CCD growth curves are a method of correcting this flux to yield an estimate of the true value. The use of growth curves for faint or crowded sources is examined.
