Abstract: On basis of OGLE-II lightcurves and 2MASS near-infrared data we studied a large sample of Mira variables in the Bulge of our Galaxy. The sample covers a wide range of latitudes (1.2&3176; < |b| < 6°) and longitudes (349° < l < 11°). On basis of the variability period distributions we conclude that the Miras in the Bulge are of intermediate age (1-3 Gyr). Close to the Galactic Centre a younger population, less than 1 Gyr, exists.
