| Abstract: |
A large-area survey of the LMC is being conducted with the AKARI infrared camera. Imaging data with five filters (3, 7, 11, 15, and 24 μm), and spectra at 2–5 μm with a slitless prism having a resolution of about 20 at 3.5 μm, will be obtained. This survey will provide a large sample of AGB stars in the LMC. |
