This paper summarizes the International Partnerships Panel at the 2025 Habitable Worlds Observatory Conference (HWO25), which brought together leadership from the NASA (United States), ESA (Europe), JAXA (Japan), CSA (Canada), and UKSA (United Kingdom) space agencies. Panelists voiced strong support for international collaboration on HWO, highlighting successes from past science flagship mission development such as on JWST and Roman. They discussed how international contributions can take many forms, from instruments and subsystems to ground-based assets and launch vehicles—presenting a variety of opportunities to support the realization of HWO. The panel emphasized the proven benefits of international collaboration including shared costs, expanded technical capabilities, stronger domestic communities, and deeper international ties. Now is the time for those interested in contributing to HWO to solidify areas of interest, exchange ideas, and build collaborations that will extend the legacy of international partnerships in powering humanity's greatest achievements in space science. |
