Abstract: spaceEU was a European-funded project that fostered a young, creative and inclusive European space community. The 2-year project implemented an exciting space outreach and education programme to spark the interest of young people in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths), and to encourage them to consider space-related careers. To achieve its objectives, spaceEU put forward a coherent suite of activities targeted to students, families, underrepresented communities, educators, policy makers and the general public that reached over 3 million people with the organisation of 274 spaceEU activities and produced 518 spaceEU outputs that will ensure the legacy of the project in the future. At the ASP2020 Conference, spaceEU presented the educational resources, engagement programmes and educators professional development activities organised in the framework of the project.
