Abstract: The effects of magnetic fields in the Galactic Center region is a very interesting topic. We investigate the role of magnetic fields on the gas dynamics in the Galactic center region by magnetohydrodynamic simulations. In this report, we describe how the thermal evolution plays a role in the amplification of magnetic fields and consequent magnetic activity.
