| Abstract: |
The problems of the long-term preservation of observations obtained with telescopes of the Special Astrophysical Observatory of the Russian Academy of Sciences (SAO RAS) are considered. As a solution to the tasks concerning with the data preservation, scaling of hardware and archive contents, access and data interpretation, we represent a prototype of a persistent data warehouse based on the Integrated Rule-Oriented Data System (iRODS) which belongs to the class of open source software for data management. As the first step it is designed a migration strategy of our observation archive to an iRODS-based software-defined storage. |
