Abstract: The Gaia satellite (Gaia Collaboration et al. 2016) is a scanning mission that collects data for approximately 70 million stellar sources every day over its 5-year mission. The raw data consists of astrometric data (images of stellar sources), photometric and spectroscopic data. Attitude data and other auxiliary data describing CCD characteristics (gating, charge injection) are also obtained. We present our solution for accounting for all data in the complex data flow and for tracing back where data are lost.
