Abstract: Hot molecular cores and hot corinos are the richest reservoirs of complex organic molecules in the Galaxy, including key species for prebiotic processes. The superb capabilities of the ngVLA will allow us not only to detect new heavy complex organic species, but also to spatially resolve their emission from the envelope down to the accretion disks embedded in the hot core and the hot corino and to chemically and physically characterize the region where the emission originates.
