| Abstract: |
The Astronomical & Physics Cloud Interactive Desktop, developed for the
prototype of CTA Science Gateway in Catania, Italy, allows to use many
software packages without any installation on the local desktop. The
users will be able to exploit, if applicable, the native Graphical User
Interface (GUI) of the programs that are available in the ACID
environment. For using interactively the remote programs, ACID exploits
an "ad hoc" VNC-based User Interface (VUI). |
