Abstract: The dependence of mass-loss rates of WNE stars on metallicity Z has been derived from the solutions of optically thick wind models. It appears that the mass-loss rates of these stars depend quite strongly on Z ( dM/dt ∝ Zα with α being equal to about 0.5 – 1 for Z ≈ 0.002–0.02).
