Abstract: We have calculated synthetic spectra for a set of hydrodynamical dust-driven wind models with carbon-rich chemistry to investigate their optical and infrared appearance depending on model parameters. The spectra were computed at various phases covering several pulsation periods to examine cycle-to-cycle variations. Furthermore, we determined photometric magnitudes in different broadband filters to present and compare lightcurves. Relations between mass-loss rates and colour indices are also dicussed.
