Abstract: A new disk density distribution was proposed by Dullemond et al. for explaining the near-infrared bump in the spectral energy distribution (SED) of Herbig Ae/Be stars. While this distribution explains well the SED, we wanted to verify if it fits also the polarization observations by comparing, with our Monte Carlo code, Dullemond's distribution with a simple flared disk.
