Abstract: We present the first data calibration and spectral line mapping pipeline for the Green Bank Telescope (GBT), a 100 meter single-dish radio telescope operated by the National Radio Astronomy Observatory in West Virginia. The pipeline was developed for a prototype 7-pixel, K-band Focal Plane Array receiver (commissioned in the Fall of 2010) but is generalized for use with other receivers, operating at different wavelengths. One of the key design goals of the pipeline was to solve, on a smaller scale, issues that will arise with the entrance of the next generation of GBT detection equipment. New focal plane arrays, spectrometers and other instruments will produce much larger datasets, thus reinforcing the need for automated calibration and mapping. We discuss the implementation of the pipeline, near-term improvements and the issues we foresee as GBT hardware evolves over coming decade.
