Abstract: The QSO 0045+3926 (IO And) sightline is an intriguing one for studying high-velocity gas in our Local Group, and it also yields information about more distant, extra-galactic material. Exploratory FUSE observations (8 ksec, Cycle 2) revealed four components: a local Galactic one, two red-shifted ones associated with the quasar, and one blue-shifted component originating within our Local Group. Additional data clarify these early results, providing better column densities, and revealing a pair of additional components probably arising in or near another intervening galaxy. Additional Cycle 4 observations, eventually totaling 200 ksec, have yet to be obtained.
