Abstract: The rapidly oscillating Ap star HD134214 was observed for 2 hr using the Ultraviolet Visual Echelle Spectrograph on the Very Large Telescope. Lines of 8 of the 9 different ion species identified and tested exhibit pulsations at a frequency of 2.929 mHz with amplitudes ranging from ∼50ms−1 in YII to ∼500ms−1 in NdII. The lines of Fe I are not observed to pulsate.
