Abstract: A search has been made for papers published in the most prominent journals of astronomy in the period 2000-2009 that made use of photographic plates. The journals surveyed were The Astrophysical Journal (ApJ), Astronomical Journal (AJ), Monthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society (MNRAS), Astronomy & Astrophysics (A&A), Publications of the Astronomical Society of the Pacific (PASP) and their associated supplements and letters. Not included are papers where the plates were not used for research, for example a report on testing plate digitization techniques. Fifty-nine articles were identified which are listed below. For convenience, the titles of the articles and the ADS bibliographic code are also included. One additional article from Icarus, the major journal for solar system studies, is given after the main listing.
