This appendix briefly describes the purpose and status of many of the VO protocols and standards currently in use or actively being developed. The formal description of most standards can be found at the International Virtual Observatory Alliance web site at: http://ivoa.net/Documents. The status of the protocols is as of July 1, 2007. Standards referred to as a “working draft” have not been approved as of that date. |
